Facebook Friend-aholic

Ok, it's been a while, but hopefully we can get this blog back on track. So...I've got a new one for you. You know those people on facebook, who are pretty much addicted to adding friends? You know...you meet someone at a party briefly, and that night you get home and they've already added you as a friend on facebook? What is the deal with that people???? Are you so desperate for real friends and looking popular that as soon as you come into contact with any human being, you have to go and add them as a friend on facebook?



I can't even tell you how many friend requests I've gotten from random people I don't even know. Just this week I got one where I had one mutual friend with this person, and I'd never heard this persons name or seen this person before in my life. Do people just go through other peoples' friend lists and decide, "oh...I think I'll add THIS person today!" I seriously don't get it.



Then, this morning I awoke and checked my e-mail, to find that I had a friend request from my brother-in-law's, girlfriend's, cousin. Whom I met once about 6 months ago. I thought she was the most annoying person in the world then...so WHY would I want to be friends with her, 6 months later? Please tell me this??? Does she just want to spy in on my life now that I've decided to actually talk to the brother-in-law's girlfriend? (I'm sure there have been some stories about me shared). Sorry honey...you're not having any part in my life!!!! And neither are any of you creepers who I have never met in my life, so stop trying to add me as a friend if you don't know me! Thank you!
